Code of Conduct
Yoga Healing Consortium Institute School Code of Conduct
YHCI upholds a culture of personal refinement, clarity, and communal care.
We value embodied presence, strength-based nonviolent communication, inclusivity, professionalism, ethical boundaries, continual learning, and a shared commitment to personal and collective healing.
YHCI is a consciously cultivated learning community where yogic science, embodied humanology, and strength-based nonviolent communication form a living culture of wellness. Every participant helps create the environment we practice in, and the way we relate becomes part of the teaching itself.
1. We Practice Personal Refinement as Service
Your healing, clarity, and coherence contribute to the collective.
Show up with presence, honesty, and willingness.
Care for your body–mind system so you can engage from steadiness.
2. We Communicate from Strength, Not Harm
Speak in ways that uplift, clarify, and connect.
Use strength-based NVC to express needs without diminishing self or others.
Listen with neutrality and generosity.
3. We Protect the Sacred Container
Maintain the energetic and relational integrity of the space.
Keep confidentiality, honor consent, and uphold healthy boundaries.
Treat shared space—physical or virtual—as a co-created sanctuary.
4. We Uphold Inclusivity & Collective Belonging
YHCI welcomes all bodies, identities, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.
No discrimination, harassment, or exclusion in any form.
We prioritize psychological safety and shared humanity.
5. We Honor the Lineage & the Learning Environment

6. We Teach & Lead Ethically

Stay within scope and refrain from medical claims.
Maintain humility—teachers are always also students.
7. We Support Communal Strengthening
Celebrate each person’s progress without comparison or competition.
Share insights, ask questions, and engage in collaborative learning.
Lift the collective through steady presence and compassionate contribution.
8. We Center Safety, Well-Being & Embodiment
Prioritize physical, emotional, energetic, and communal safety.
Communicate limitations, injuries, or needs early.
Care for props, equipment, and the environment.
9. We Commit to Accountability
Integrity is a shared responsibility.
If harm occurs, we address it with honesty and skillful communication.
Violations of safety, boundaries, or inclusivity may result in removal.
